PMI PMP Is a bunch of bologna!

PMI PMP certification is not as good as you think it is. Employers aren’t looking for this certification. When compared to CISSP certification standards, the PMI PMP certification is a joke. It requires no real world job experience, the standards and procedures are easier to pass and employers generally don’t recognize this accreditation as a deciding factor in employment.

You can surf the many forums regarding PMI PMP certification and you’ll find the same information. PMI PMP certification just costs too much for what you get in return. If you can’t present this certification to employers and get the job, then what good is it? An accreditation is only as good as what it can get you in the real world. Continue reading

PMI PMP Certification Is for Suckers!

PMI PMP certification may give you a great start on a promising set of accreditation credentials but it won’t get you the job by itself. CISSP requires that students have five years of work experience in real life job scenarios before they even get to sit down and take the test. This means that employers are almost guaranteed, 100%, an employee that can perform up to the exacting standards required by the job. Continue reading

PMI Exam, a Trap

The PMI exam is nowhere near as effective as you might think. Employers are not really looking for this accreditation as much as people think. The reasoning behind this is simple. Employers have no way of being sure that potential employees who hold the PMI exam certification will be able to apply their knowledge and skills to a real world job.

With no proof that potential employees with this certification will be able to perform to the exacting standards required by the job itself, employers are left with no other choice than to deny these PMI certification holders entirely. You’ll see that the PMI PMP certification acts as just a notch in the belt of people who already have a high level of accreditation in other areas. Continue reading

PMP is offered by Project Management Institute. You can’t get this certification from anywhere else except this institute. If you are looking to compare CISSP and the PMI preparation training courses, you will find that most employers will prefer the CISSP accreditation. CISSP is a more respected certification and employers are more apt to hire these people. PMI PMP does not guarantee that the mastery of the skills involved in the learning process will be applied to the real life job scenario. Continue reading
